Low impact versus high impact cardio

so for the last few days myself and a handful of trainers on facebook have been having a debate
on what’s better for fat loss in the long run. Most of the trainers including myself strongly believe in the higher
intensity the work out the more calories and fat you will burn after the work out is long over. some very very old school trainers
believe that low impact cardio will keep more fat off consistently. here’s the deal, it’s all about the after burn. If you go through a pretty intense 30 minute cardio session you will keep burning calories up to 12 hours after the work out is over. same goes for a more intense resistance work out but the difference is you’ll be burning up to 48 hours later. low impact cardio is great but as a filler. it’s a great way to give your body a rest from the high impact all week but consistently doing one type of work out in the long
run will not get you results.

Dedication

The trick to getting fit and healthy and staying there is dedication and consistency. I’m sorry if you were expecting a different answer.
I don’t have a secret formula or a 30 day lose 50 pounds solution. It’s as simple as this, eating healthy and exercising consistently will get
to your fitness goal. Whatever the goal is that’s the only way to get there. Obviously there are certain ways to eat and work out that will get you
there quicker and safer but then that’s where I come in. Yes, there is an exact science to the exercise programs and you will need to follow
a pretty precise food plan but once that’s re designed then you’re on your way! but, remember the quickest and healthiest way to get you to
your fitness goals is through consistency and dedication!

Shout out!

I just wanted to give a big shout out to my clients who have consistently made themselves and their fitness number one priority because we all know that is starts from inside. If you consistently treat your body poorly by eating unhealthy food, drinking alcohol, not getting enough sleep, too much stress, being dehydrated your life will never seem to make sense. getting to your life goals will always seem unattainable. Once you start taking yourself seriously and treating your mind and body right the universe will respond! All my clients have seen that first hand so once again big shout out to them!

July Goals!

hey all!
so let’s start off july with a healthy bang!
if you have been setting small daily goals let’s start making weekly goals.
if your daily goal was to get some form of a 30 minute work out daily lets keep that but
maybe at the end of the week if your end goal is to lose wieght then you’ll have lost 1 pound.
one of the ways to stay on track is by joining some type of a group like a semi private training session this way you get the motivation and are held accountable.
good luck!
see you in one on one’s or semi privates!
